More about this item
This is our basic sleigh bell, base is brass. Select gold-brass or silver-chrome when you purchase. Please be careful - small and heavy...not for use as a toy for small children. This is an Ornament only- potential choking hazard.
All our bells are sand cast by hand in a traditional ancient method. Be aware and compare - there are many other bells on the market - we have purchased them to examine. Ours are hand made, heavy construction, made to last and weather in the tradition of horse sleigh bells. They are not made on on metal lathe. They are not stamped or bent. They are not craft bells. They are not 'tinny' sounding. They are cast and designed to be heirlooms.
Don't be fooled into thinking we are newbies! This is a NEW listing, that we created in 2012 - to abide by new listing rules. We've literally been selling for nearly 2 decades and been restoring and handling sleigh bells all during that time.
Also be aware that there are large corporate giants still afoot trying to bully us about and put us out of business. We are here to serve you and make the holiday affordable while keeping our margins low. Yes, we don't make a huge profit as do the large outfits selling bells. We believe our service and product quality speak for themselves. We know you'll agree once you receive your bells.

"Happy New Year! Just thought I would tell you that BY FAR the bell is my son's favorite gift that Santa brought to him. (He is 6 1/2) He has shown everyone he knows and explains why it's so special... it's from the sleigh.... look at the engraving... look how it's worn... look at the leather & the box! We are so happy and want to thank you for your help! He has a friend who has the Hallmark version and even she was in awe at the -real- bell. Thanks again & happy new year to you and yours. "
"I know I left feedback but I wanted to share something with you. I ordered this bell for my 9 year old grandson because he asked Santa for a reindeer bell for Christmas, thanks to you it got here in time to Canada and it was the biggest hit for him. I read him the Polar Express on Christmas Eve and he said he asked Santa for a bell and wondered if it was silver or gold. Well Christmas morning he has so excited to get his SILVER bell. When asked even a week later what was the best Christmas present he got it is always 'the bell' over games, MP3 player, snowboard, everything! Thank you for making his Christmas so special, we can all believe!"
"Thank you, bell arrived today and I am very pleased with it ... probably the best packaging I have seen. "
"Received bell today. Absolutely perfect!! Thank you!!!"
"My children loved the bells! They even made a believer out of me! Thanks!!!"
"My son is still on air over this bell. Thank you for making such a special gift."
"My little boy LOVED it! He carried it around for days! Thank you!!!"
"My daughter loved receiving this. She even claims it smells of 'reindeer'."
"Truly the spirit of Christmas...both kids favorite gift. A+++++++"
"WOW - incredible bell...... kids best present....."
"My daughter (age 6) truly believes this is a bell from Santa's sleigh. Thanks!"
"This was the BEST Christmas gift I ever GAVE - Awesome Service - Quality is A+"
"Good Morning! I am thrilled to have come across your beautiful bells
. We have always encouraged our children not to make a list for
Santa, but rather, just to ask for a surprise. The lists just seemed too
greedy and a "surprise" makes it easier on the elves (as you well know,
being one yourself! :O) But this year my nine year old just couldn't
help herself and she asked for a surprise and a bell off Santa's sleigh.
She, of course, was very worried lest Santa think she was being greedy.
I assured her that if Santa didn't want her to have a bell, he simply
wouldn't bring one. Thank you, dear elf, for being such an integral part
of our Christmas this year! "
We guarantee the low price on bells. If you find exactly what we sell for less, let us know. We'll match or beat the low price. (as long as we don't go in the red. Some people think undercutting to put someone out of business is a good idea. We don't adhere to that practice here. We have serious elf-work to do and need to keep afloat to do it)
